Who can you contact

Who  can you contact for the various NVI tasks
· Research and development of vaccines is being continued within the RIVM, in the new Vaccinology Unit. Together with the Centre of Infectious Diseases (CIb), this unit forms a new sector within the RIVM. The Vaccinology Unit is managed by our current Scientific Director, prof. dr. Claire Boog.

 

· Activities relating to procurement, storage and distribution of vaccines (IOD) are also under the responsibility of the RIVM. Together with the Regional Coordination Programmes (RCPs, the former ‘Entadministraties’) these activities shall be undertaken in a new organisation unit within the RIVM with the provisional working name of IOD/RCP. The IOD activities are managed by dr.ir. Truus de Graaf.

 

· The production of vaccines and mediums shall remain with the NVI until the sale is completed, with the management being provided by the current Managing Director, drs. Nico Oudendijk.

 

· The supporting services associated with production (such as quality control and management and the animal testing laboratory) shall provisionally be continued by the NVI, under the management of the current Operations Director, dr.ir. Marien Weststrate.

 

· Operational management and staff duties such as finance, policy & strategy, HRM, communications, legal affairs, procurement and ICT fall under the responsibility of the relevant RIVM departments.

 

Contact and financial information
In general, our staff shall continue to perform the same activities but this will usually be within a different
organisation or under another (departmental) name. The staff who shall remain working within the NVI
shall be retaining their e-mail address and telephone number. The staff who has been transferred to the
RIVM has been given ‘@rivm.nl’ as the extension to their e-mail addresses which will replace ‘@nvivaccin.
nl’. They shall retain their own telephone numbers.
With regard to the bank account numbers and other administrative information we request, for the time
being, that you continue to use the same NVI information that you are currently using, unless our
financial, procurement or sales departments specifically notify you that the information has changed.
The address for visitors remains Antonie van Leeuwenhoeklaan 9-11. Many members of staff shall be
relocated internally, as a result of which they may have a new internal postal address and/or room
number. They shall notify you about this where necessary. 

 

On-going contracts
Do you have a contract with the NVI? All on-going contracts shall be continued, although this may
(sometimes) be under a different organisation name. Where necessary, we shall contact you to discuss
your specific situation. If you have any questions then please raise them with your current contact
person.
